Nigerian National Volunteer Service (NNVS)  is a statutory agency in the Presidency, based in Abuja, and charged with coordinating volunteer actvities of Nigerians in the country and from the Diaspora. NNVS organises and coordinates events related to the annual Nigerian Diaspora Conference Week and Diaspora Day - July 25. It hosts about 500 delegates from the Diaspora.

Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), Abuja, Nigeria is the statutory agency responsible for provision of healthcare services to the country. It is an executive arm of the Federal Goverment of Nigerian.

The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) is a regulatory and enforcement agency within the Federal Ministry of Health

Afrigrowth Foundation, Abuja, Nigeria: AfriGrowth, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing growth in needy communities. Founded on the belief that one of the greatest challenges we face in the world today is poverty, AfriGrowth focuses on eliminating poverty through programs in Education, Health, Nutrition, and Tourism.

Arts for Behavioural Change Foundation (ABCF), is the first Non-Governmental, Non-profit organization in Nigeria that is primarily focused on promoting attitudinal and behavioural change in the society.

Humanitarian Doctors of Africa (HDOA) is an international non-profit non-governmental organisation of volunteer doctors and nurses dedicated to fighting the impact of hiv/aids, tb and malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. HDOA has been sponsoring medical missions and school based projects in Nigeria and other parts of Africa since 2000.

Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) is the umbrella body of Nigerian doctors in the country. The NMA is the largest medical association in the West African sub-region with over 35,000 members from 36 state branches and the branch from the Federal capital Territory. Policy decisions are made by the Association's National Executive Council (NEC), which is the governing body.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria (EFCC): The EFFC Act mandates the EFCC to combat economic and financial crimes on behalf of the Government and people of Nigeria. The Commission is empowered to prevent, investigate, prosecute and penalise economic and financial crimes and is charged with the responsibility of enforcing the provisions of other laws and regulations relating to economic and financial crimes, including 419 advanced fee scams, money laundering and counter-terrorism.

Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN): The umbrella association of all Pharmacists in Nigeria consists of a National Headquarters with chapters in each State of the Federation.

Nigerians in the Diaspora Organisations (NIDO) are umbrella voluntary membership oragnisations of Nigerians living and working in different countries outside Nigeria. There are several chapters of NIDO and varying membership crieteria. Further information on specific NIDO region (NIDO-Africa, NIDO Americas, NIDO-Asia, NIDO-Australia, NIDO-Europe) can be found by googling NIDO and the region or country of interest.

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) is the statutory body responsible for Regulating Doctors and ensuring good medical practice in Nigeria. MDCN is firmly committed to regulate the practice of Medicine, Dentistry and Alternative Medicine in the most efficient manner that safeguards best healthcare delivery for Nigerians. The Medical and Dental professions in Nigeria are regulated by the Medical and Dental Practitioners Act Cap 221 (now Cap M8) Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1990 which sets up the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
