Pandiaspora is a voluntary membership organisation. Membership is now open to all Nigerians in the Diaspora and at home who share our vision, mission and objectives - to contribute to sustainable improvements in provision of healthcare, education and social welfare.
You can register your partnership or membership interest in the following membership categories - Individual, Social Group, Nigerian NGO, Government Agency, Private Corporation, or Friends of Pandiaspora.
Participation on medical mission related projects is restricted to Nigerian citizens at this time but Pandiaspora has provided a membership category for "Friends of Pandiaspora" to express their support. It is anticipated that over the next year, we would work our modalities for participation of expatriate doctors, nurses and other volunteers on medical mission to Nigeria. Following discussions with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, we are now accepting expatariate medical professionals on medical missions to Nigeria, under a temporary medical licensing agreement with the MDCN. Our Membership Organisational Structure
As an independent organisation, we are free of external influences and the work of our volunteers is dictated by the needs and demands of beneficiaries. We are a totally non-partisan organisation and as such, our volunteers are free to work in all geo-political regions of the country devoid of religious or political interference. The activities of our members are coordinated by the National Coordinator and services are delivered by the Integrated Medical and Educational Mission Teams. Teams are composed of doctors, nurses and other health workers with extensive experience in their fields. Each team is led by a team lead, with medical mission and service provision experience. Together, the Coordinating and Specialist Teams form the National Coordinating Body of Pandiaspora. The Coordinating Body is supported by a global assembly of registered members. It receives independent oversight and advisory from an external Advisory Board of Directors and an internal Board of Trustees. The management structure ensures both functional autonomy and oversight to encourage continous total quality improvement.
